Artist Statement

My art tells stories.  Not simple stories but hidden ones. Part of the fun is leaving clues for viewers to find and enjoy. The closer a viewer looks the more surprises they may find.

I rely on imagination.  I use unusual materials because everything has use and everything can be part of something larger that’s beautiful.

Enjoy my contemporary curious constructions.

Artist Bio

My artwork is different and so is my background.

I started at St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland where I studied the classics.  I was then a musician and graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a major in Composition and Arrangement.  After a stint as an unsuccessful musician I went to the Harvard Business School and received my MBA. I then spent the next 30 years as a management consultant.

Everything I’ve learned and experienced gets expressed in my art.
